WHAT IS LINN-SUI FRANCHISING?
Franchising
is a collaborative relationship that joins companies like
LINN-SUI (known as Franchisors or Affiliators) to enterprising
people (known as Franchisees or Affiliates) who want to
open outlets owned by them with the LINN-SUI label, thus
becoming juridically and economically independent traders.
As a result of this relationship, regulated and protected
by a five yearly minimum legal contract, the Affiliate not
only acquires the LINN-SUI name and image but also and above
all its sales experience, based on the quality of its products
matured over its years as a retailer.
WHAT DOES LINN-SUI OFFER?
Linn-Sui
offers continual support and assistance to its Affiliates,
from the choice, design and opening of the outlet, to outfitting
the shop with everything that is necessary for starting
up the business: the shop sign, the merchandise and the
furnishings are all offered at favourable conditions as
part of the LINN-SUI package.
As
well as guaranteeing sole selling rights within a particular
area and informing its Affiliates about materials and production
techniques LINN-SUI also offers personal assistance for
each outlet with the planning of promotional advertising
campaigns, articles in the national interior design press
and help with local shows or fairs that the Affiliate might
want to participate in for the promotion of his or her outlet.
The franchise
and all the activites carried out in favour of the Affiliate,
as in all franchising relationships, are remunerated with
an initial fee paid to LINN-SUI that covers the length of
the contract and eventual renewals.
WHAT LINN-SUI NEEDS?
Whoever
decides to open a LINN-SUI franchise and so become an Affiliate
must take into account the basic prerogative that he or
she is the owner of the business and therefore has complete
economic and managerial autonomy while, however, operating
in line with the Affiliator's commercial formula as well
as with its support and supervision.
Being
the owner of any shop means having to put up the investment
necessary to open the shop as well as seeing to the search
for premises in the area (with an ideal surface area of
between 100 and 200 square metres); in cities with a catchment
area of not less than 300,000 inhabitants, in well frequented
high streets or neighbouring ones, preferably in old city
centres; with a licence to sell in line with local council
regulations.
At
this point the investment for the outfitting of the shop
should be added, offered by LINN-SUI as part of its initial
package including the above. The whole extent of this investment
depends on the size and conditions of the premises; the
approximate availability of capital necessary to open this
kind of business varies from between 50 and 80 million lira,
extendible into several payments. |
